The sale calendar: when every store drops its prices

The seasons, the quiet weeks and the days when codes are worth the most.

A calendar with sale days marked

Codes are available all year, but the size of the discount follows a calendar. If you know it, you buy the expensive things in the right week and use regular codes for the rest. This is the calendar we work from, with the seasons on this site as the anchors.

The seasons on this site

Each season page shows a countdown, the stores taking part and the codes confirmed for it. Black Friday is running right now; Cyber Week starts in a few weeks. Later in the year come the other two. During a season the codes on the store pages are marked, and the season page lists them in one place.

What each season is good for

  • Black Friday: electronics, big furniture, gift sets. The deepest cuts of the year, and stock is full on day one.
  • The weeks after: the stores keep their prices for a few days, then the leftovers are discounted further.
  • Mid-season sales: fashion and shoes, usually with a free-shipping code added.
  • The quiet months: regular codes work best, because there is no sale to exclude them.

Fashion follows the collections

New collections land twice a year, and the previous one goes on sale a few weeks later. That is when codes at Lumiro and Khatvo are at their most useful, because the “everything” codes apply to the sale as well. Shoes follow the same rhythm, one month behind.

Electronics follow the launches

The week after a new phone or laptop launches, the previous model drops, and the drop stays for a while. Voltika shows the price history, which makes it easy to see whether a code brings the price below the last launch. Accessories at Shahno are discounted all year, so they fill the basket to the free-shipping threshold whenever you need.

Beauty follows the gifts

Gift sets appear at the start of the season and are the best value in the category. Loyalty points are doubled for a few days at most stores, and Wardina tends to do it just before the season. Fragrance is cheapest in the weeks after the holidays.

Home follows the seasons, literally

Furniture is discounted in the big seasons and almost never otherwise. Kitchen appliances follow the same pattern, cookware does not. Baytona and Matbakho both open the season with free delivery above a threshold.

How to use the calendar

  1. Pin the stores you buy from, so new codes show on the home page.
  2. Wishlist the expensive items before a season; season codes often need it.
  3. Buy on the first day of the season, while stock is full.
  4. Use regular codes for everything else, in the quiet months.
  5. Vote on the codes you used, so the success rates stay accurate for the next season.

The calendar changes a little every year, but the pattern holds: expensive things in the seasons, everything else with a regular code.
